Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
I am Gouri Singh. My father’s name is Raju Singh, and he is a farmer. He likes spending time with his friends. My mother’s name is Radhika Singh, and she is a housewife. I have five sisters who are studying; only one of my sisters is married. My uncle also does farming for a living. My mother likes gossiping with her close friend. Other family members like to use the phone.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because my parents cannot afford coaching. As a JNV student, I can stay away from home without difficulty. If not selected, I will join another free coaching center.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to become a doctor. After I become a doctor, I want to serve society as much as I can.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I will take care of my patients calmly and charge a low fee. I will donate some money to my village for its development. After becoming a doctor, I will definitely return to JNV and Dakshana to express my gratitude.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
In my school, two scientists came from Bhabha Atomic Research Centre. They stayed for two days and conducted sessions with us. They inspired us a lot. They told us about the effort required to become successful. Their words motivated me to work hard until success touches my feet.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My hobbies are singing and reading books. I like spending time with my friends.
