Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My family is typically not a large one. We only have six members in it including myself. My father is a cultivator by profession and his schedule is usually hectic during monsoon season. He also does some farm related works during off-season. My mother is typically a housewife but she contributes to the family income by selling vegetable products from the kitchen garden. My grandparents are in their mid 80s, so they do not do any work. My sister is currently pursuing her MBBS degree, actually I am deeply motivated by her hardwork and determination which also inspire me to follow her footsteps.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I would not say that I must be awarded the Dakshana scholarship . But I am really thankful that I actually got it. If I hadn't got it I would just continue my preparation to achieve my goal.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
Since I was a kid, I had always been fascinated by the profession of a doctor. They treat people from all walks of life with dedication and sincerity. They are doing a great service for the welfare of humanity.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
Becoming a doctor is not all about money and privilege they get. Its about the contentment they feel when they treat and remove the sufferings of their patients. The service a doctor contributes to the society is worth praising. I would like to put my full efforts and dedication as a doctor to fulfill my role in society.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
There are many incidents worth mentioning but one in particular stands out amongst them. When I was in 5th standard, I was visiting a hospital for some medical check up then out of the blue an emergency ambulance came rushing in. They were carrying motorbike accident victims, after arriving they put the victims on a stretcher and rushed towards the trauma centre. A doctor was performing CPR on the victim while moving on the stretcher with all his mights, his clothes were all stained with blood. This scene had a lasting impact on me and fueled my objective of becoming a doctor.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
Actually I do not have a lot of interests or hobbies. My side interests is to learn history and gardening. I also enjoy playing badminton. I am a bit introverted so making new friends is a bit hard but slowly I really get well along with them.
