Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father's name is Jiban Kumar Sarkar. He is a farmer who works on his own land and sells vegetables. My mother's name is Rita Sarkar; she is a housewife. My brother's name is Basudeb Sarkar, and he is a student.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I think I have the capability to take this scholarship because I have worked for it, and I am fully confident that this opportunity will give me success. If I am not selected as a Dakshana Scholar, it will hurt me, but later it will motivate me to achieve my goal.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to become a doctor and help backward people. I want to go to places where medical facilities are poor and help by providing free checkups. I also want to encourage them to send their children to school for better education.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I will donate as much as I can to NGOs. I will help backward people in society by providing good medical facilities. I will also motivate their children to attend school and provide financial support for higher education through NGOs.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
One day, I was going home from my maternal uncle’s house in the train. I saw many old men and children begging. Some were selling things, and many were handicapped. Nobody paid attention to them. This incident happened many times and motivated me to do something good for my family and my country so I can help such people.

My interest is in bodybuilding, calisthenics, and reading storybooks.
