Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
Having been planted in a family of four members that includes my father Mr. Rakesh Verma, who is the sole breadwinner of the family. My mother Mrs. Kanchan Verma is a homemaker. She is the driving force of mine and my brother's happiness and values. My family has been my greatest support system in every phase of my life. My younger brother Amritansh Patel is my greatest cheerleader and has an active role in my decisions of life. I really feel blessed.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
The reason I should be selected is that I have a burning desire and curiosity for knowledge. I think I possess high self-esteem and dedication to fully utilize my potential through this opportunity.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My greatest ambition is to make my parents the proudest one day. Moreover, I wish to be financially independent. Another goal of my life is to learn A-grade skills.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I would like to help orphan kids. I genuinely wish to help some differently-abled kids who really require help. Another goal is that I want to teach my village members to write because many of them cannot.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
During my school hours, my friend and I were sitting under the shade of a tree when we observed a spider climbing up the tree through a frail thread. I began to think of its faith and willpower. Some moments later, a girl came and ruined all the spider’s hard work by pulling it down. But… It affected the spider the least. It reset itself and started climbing again. I, who kept observing all this, learned something great that day. Since then, there have been very rare moments when I felt hopeless.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I love to play volleyball. I prefer gardening and planting trees. I admire listening to music.
