My name is Deb Roy Mondal, son of Manoranjan Roy Mondal. My parents are farmers. My mother is a housewife. My grandmother’s name is Kalanti Roy Mondal; she is also a housewife. My brother’s name is Shiba Roy Mondal, and he is studying in class 10. My uncles are farmers. My family likes to live a peaceful life. They want to see me become a doctor.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I heard about Dakshana from my seniors at Navodaya Vidyalaya. If I am not selected for Dakshana, I will study online and prepare for NEET through YouTube at my home.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I want to be a doctor in my life. I want to do something for mankind and help society with my best efforts.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I achieve my goals, I will serve my country by being a doctor.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
When I look at doctors, I feel inspired and dream of becoming a person like them. I want to serve society through my work.

My hobbies are gardening, fishing, and playing cricket. I am interested in the medical field and surgery.
