Dangi Dhruval
JNV Dahod - I Gujarat I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend Medical College
Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
I am Dangi Dhruval. In my family, my mother, my little brother, and I are there. My father is no more. My mother is a housewife; she does all household work and also works at PHC Lilvathakor. My little brother, Dangi Pruthvi, is studying in Standard 10. My whole family is dependent on my mother for everything. My mama is a police officer and lives in a different city. My uncle, Dangi Mukesh, is a farmer, and my aunty also does farming with him for a living.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I have to become a doctor, and for this I need to study. There is a money problem in my house. Dakshana helps poor students fulfil their dreams, which is why I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship. I need free coaching, and this is also a reason. If I am not selected as a Dakshana Scholar, then I will try to study at home through YouTube or other online sites.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to live peacefully with a job through which I can fulfill my duties as a son and a big brother, and have a car. Becoming a doctor is good because through this job I can earn money, respect, and many thanks from my patients. A happy family with good health is all I want, and for that I need to be educated and get a good job.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I will be more educated and financially stable than now. I will help my village people by motivating them to get educated. I will help my family, and if possible, I will donate some of my money to people who truly need it. But giving money is not the real solution—teaching them how to earn is the real solution. So I will help people learn how to earn and become independent.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
I watched a TV programme in which the main character dreamt very big. People called his dream unachievable, but he said, “I am doing this because I want to do this.” That line motivates me the most. It taught me that as long as I am alive, I have infinite chances. It helps me not give up on anything.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My hobbies are playing volleyball, sleeping, visiting hilly areas, making new friends, gossiping, singing alone, watching everyone laugh, and reading novels.
