JNV Etawah Uttar Pradesh I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend Medical College
Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
I live in a joint family. There are 12 members, including me—three uncles and aunts, my grandparents, my parents, and one older sibling. My father’s name is Munendra Singh, and he works as an electrician. My mother’s name is Sangita Devi, and she is a housewife as well as a tailor. My elder brother is named Kamal Kant. He qualified NEET in 2024 and is now pursuing MBBS.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
In my JNV, I heard a lot about Dakshana as a great place for NEET and JEE coaching. I worked hard and am now a Dakshana Scholar. To crack any exam, consistency is important, and I have that quality. If not selected, I would study from home to fulfil my aim.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My aim is to become a successful and reputed woman surgeon, to make my parents proud and respected.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I will treat society according to the needs of the patients, not according to money. I will be fair to everyone regarding fees. Nowadays, people run behind money and don’t care about the poor who can’t afford treatment. Sometimes they lose their loved ones because rich people get treated first by paying extra money. I want to change that, and it will not happen with my patients.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
When I was in 2nd class, during my half-yearly exams, my grandfather met with an accident. Many doctors refused to treat him. But where his treatment finally happened, that doctor took responsibility and operated on him. Now my grandfather is completely fine. Everyone thanked that doctor. The happiness my family felt made me realize how important doctors are. I decided that day to become a successful doctor and give that same happiness to others.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I am interested in learning about space, space news, astronomers, and psychology. I like reading novels. My hobbies are singing, playing offline chess and carrom board, watching fictional movies, and reading books.
