Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father is a shopkeeper, and my mother is a housewife. My elder brother helps my father in the shop. My elder sister is in college. We live with our grandparents and enjoy spending time with them. My sister is also a Navodayan.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because I fulfill all the criteria. I aspire to become an IITian, and I will work hard with utmost dedication to achieve my dream. If I am not selected, I will prepare for JEE using other available resources.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition is to become an IITian and make my family and teachers proud. I want to become an independent citizen and stand on my own feet. I also want to be a learner who always learns something new from everywhere. Life means learning new things every day.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I want to give back the best things I learnt from Dakshana and Navodaya. I want to pass these life-learning lessons to the upcoming generation. Just like Dakshana, I want to guide the new generation with every kind of support, including economic help. Many people around me face problems, especially financial ones. I feel that if I teach even one child and give them a bright future, the family’s condition can improve automatically. I also believe that one effort can change someone’s life completely.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
My family is my inspiration. When I see my father working so hard to give the best things to our family, it inspires me a lot. My mother does all the household work so that we can focus on our studies. One of the proudest moments that inspired me is when I cleared the JDST exam. It increased my confidence. Dakshana is a place where we can fulfil our dreams. I believe my future will be very bright and now I am a Dakshanaite.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I am interested in travelling and visiting new places. My hobbies are playing chess, reading novels and spending time with my friends and family.
