Arya Rupesh Jadhav

JNV Akola Maharashtra
I'd like to become a Dakshana scholar and hopefully attend IIT

Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
Myself Arya Rupesh Jadhav. I am the only child of my parents. My father Rupesh Jadhav is an auto driver who is a very ordinary man and loves to spend time with me, talk to me and also share his precious experience. My mother cares a lot about me and as a hobby she likes to listen to music and sometimes sing a bit and so do I. My maternal and paternal uncles are doing private jobs. My father's parents passed away recently and I don't have any siblings. I have this small family of mine of only 3 people and I love it.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I think that it is not that without the Dakshana scholarship I can't crack the exam and kids are also getting much better ranks from other institutes too, but in the Dakshana Foundation there is an environment where I can study properly and get quality education for free which is the best thing about it. I think that in the Dakshana Center I will get proper guidance and exposure to knowledge. Now it's totally on them whether to select me or not but from my side I will give it all I have and even if they don't award me the scholarship it will only motivate me to study harder and make me realize the competition, so I will work even harder.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My parents are very liberal and since my childhood they never forced me to do any particular thing. On the other hand, I always had an interest in science, and from the first class I had decided to be a scientist. Now, after deeper understanding of the diverse field of science, I would love to be a professor of physics and a physicist where I could teach kids as well as research in physics, which will help the whole mankind and that's my goal, to help mankind.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
To me success is knowledge. You can always try to gain more and more of it and it will keep coming. I want to be a physicist and professor where I could teach other children too and train some brilliant brains so that they could also gain knowledge. To me, if you can't donate to society then just do your own job perfectly, and if I could I would also like to donate for associations protecting nature and also old age homes. I would mainly like to research and help us understand our beautiful world better, which would help the whole mankind.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
I was in class 8th and my studies were not going so great, especially I was doing very bad in maths. One day our maths teacher asked me a question, which I was not able to answer. Then he told me about the power of practice and not giving up. I progressed from there, kept going on and at the end of class 8th I progressed from very low marks to almost perfect scores and I continued that in class 9th also and slowly increased my score in every test. At the end of the year, I was the 3rd topper of my class and this was one of the greatest life-changing moments according to me.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
6.I have interest in many things but some major ones are Physics, Music, and Photography. I also enjoy listening to and singing songs. I think music has a lot of power and capturing moments is a very fun thing to do.
