I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend Medical college

I’d like to become a Dakshana scholar and hopefully attend AIPMT because from childhood, it was my dream to be a doctor. My main aim was to serve the nation and serve the poor helpless people so also the country. I found that it was the best way to reach them. As I belong to a rural area and my parents are state govt.?s health staff, I have seen many people suffering from various diseases. But, due to the lack of money, awareness and knowledge, they can?t visit the doctors at proper time and buy the required commodities. So, they have to die due to the lack of proper treatment. Now, government has taken various initiatives to provide free treatment in rural areas by opening primary health centres there. But, that is also not enough. In some hospitals, there are some medicinal shops/ pharmacy, where patients can get their medicines with some subsidy. But due to lack of awareness, they do not get facilities. They is why, I want to be a doctor for those people who really need help. Now, as Dakshana is giving me the great opportunity to achieve my goal, I am very thankful to Dakshana from the bottom of my heart. It is really a great feeling to be a Dakshana scholar and being taught by such great personalities. I will try my best to utilise this opportunity. The motivating words of the Dakshana team, which is enriched by many wise members, has inspired me a lot. And I hope that with their blessings and my effort. I can reach my destination.
