Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My family has five members—my father, mother, and my siblings. My father is a petrol pump employee, and my mother is a housewife. I belong to a typical middle-class family where the only career option is education. We are three siblings; my brother is the eldest, followed by my sister, and I am the youngest. Both my siblings have studied from Dakshana. I do not have an uncle as my father is the only son.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
Dakshana offers free residential coaching for students from poor family backgrounds. To be selected, the scholar must clear all stages, understand the rules of the foundation, and remain disciplined throughout the program. As I fall under these criteria, I feel I am worthy of receiving this scholarship.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
As my childhood and teenage years were not smooth and my family background was not very good, growing up in crisis has changed my perspective. My ambition is to change my family’s condition. I want to become a successful businesswoman and contribute to my country’s development.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I want to work on some social problems and try to resolve them. There are many ways to be successful, but education is most important—not just for career but also because it makes us good humans and teaches us gratitude. I will try to contribute to children’s education, guide them in their careers, and encourage them to be disciplined.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
Being a Dakshana scholar is the best thing that could ever happen to me. Living on the campus and seeing such generous people around me motivates me a lot to work harder toward my aim. I get motivation from myself also as I can see myself improving day by day.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My interests include debating, singing, and writing poems, and my hobbies are the same as my interests.
