Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
I am Ananya K Raju daughter of Raju J and Shantha GM. I am the single child.My father is a factory worker and he works really hard to make me a doctor.My mother is a housewife,she helps me with the studies and keeps me motivated.They both want me to study well and become successful. My grandfather and uncle are very hardworking farmers.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
My aim in life is to become doctor.From my childhood I am attracted toward doctors.I want to become a doctor without spending my parent's money.Dakshana is a very good oppurtunity to achieve my dream.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My aim in life is to become a Cardiologist.And I want to pursue my degree in AIIMS Delhi.My only goal is to become a doctor and bring a smile of proudness on the face of my parents.I wish to prove that money is not the only thing to become doctor, its our passion,hardwork,ambition and talent.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I am successful I will help others who are living in a poor and uncivilised part of our country.Also I would like to open free educational institue to help the intelligent students but are not able to reach their dream due to poverty.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
When I was studying in a private school,my parents were working too hard to give me education. This made me decide to work hard and then join Navodaya then dakshana scholar and achieve my dream of becoming a doctor and make my parents proud of me.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My interest is in science because it fascinates me.My hobbies are playing chess with my mother,spending time with my parents, reading some good books.
