Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My name is Amit Kumar. I am youngest in my family. My family consists of total 10 members including me .My parents , brother ,sister in law , 3 sisters ,1 niece and 1 nephew. My father is a farmer and my mother is a housewife . my brother is a private employee who earns around 10000 per month. my two sisters have got married and one sister is persuing B.A. My niece and nephew are also studying in 4th and 2nd class.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded Dakshana scholarship because I am an IIT aspirant and I want to persue a good quality of education that can help me getting into a renowned IIT. Being from a poor family background I am not in position to persue coachings which are so costly but Dakshana provides scholarships to such aspirants who can not afford such costly coachings . So I Think falling into the criteria of Dakshana I should be given this scholarship.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I belong to a rural area where getting good quality of education is very struggling task. People are poor so they are not able to afford a good quality of education to their children. Due to lack of education the children also fall into the vicious cycle of poverty . I want to provide them quality education so that everyone can improve their life style and family background.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
In my Sociaty people are not educated so they do not know the importance of education . Due to lack of awareness and poverty they force their children to do work and support family. After becoming successful I want to provide a good quality of education to the children who are interested but due to their family conditions they are not able to afford quality education. I want to remove poverty of my Sociaty people.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
When I was studying in 5th grade I heard about Vidyagyan school which provide scholarship for 7 years . I prepared for the intrance exam and got selected . After reaching their I explored many things which I have never thought. There my seniors told me about IIT and its importance and a senior who was in IIT Bombay was respected the most in the school. so this motivated me to do better in life .

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I am interested in playing cricket , volleyball, badminton and my hobbies are singing and playing instruments
