Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father's name is Rakesh Kumar. He works at a brick industry. My mother's name is Sonu; she is a housewife. We like to spend time with each other. My parents want to see me become a successful person in life. My immediate uncles are teachers.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
Dakshana Scholarship is a well-designed program for poor children to fulfill their dreams of becoming IITians or getting admission in top engineering and medical colleges. So I am very fortunate to get selected. This institute provides a healthy environment for studies without distractions. If I was not selected for Dakshana, then I would go for state engineering exams. I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship so that I can fulfill my and my family’s dreams.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to become an IITian and a successful engineer so that I can support my family and make them feel proud.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I will contribute to society by giving donations to needy people and opening an NGO to support children.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
The condition of my family inspired me the most. I have seen my mother and father facing difficulties and struggling for my secure future. These things inspire me to do better.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My interests are reading novels, self-help books and playing cricket. My hobbies are listening to music, podcasts of successful people and watching documentaries.
