JNV Bhadrak Odisha I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend Medical College
Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father is the Vice Principal at JNV and has been a Physics teacher at NVS for about 15 years. My mother is also a teacher in a state government school. Both of them are highly enthusiastic about my future and always guide me in every field and aspect of life. They motivate and support me at every stage and always encourage me to take steps that will lead to my betterment. My younger brother is also a highly dedicated student who excels in both sports and academics. Watching him makes me feel proud and inspires me to become an ideal role model for him. My grandmother is another source of love, care, and happiness in my life. She always nurtures me and teaches me the right path.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because it will help me achieve my goals through the right guidance and opportunities. It will teach me how to properly utilize my energy and potential instead of limiting myself to a restricted environment. Dakshana will provide me with high-quality faculty, resources, and proper guidance, which will make my preparation for NEET easier and more effective. Even if I am not selected for the scholarship, I will remain motivated and continue working hard toward my goal. I will seek guidance from my parents, teachers, and JNV mentors because the path may be different, but the goal will always remain the same.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to become the best daughter of India by contributing to the betterment of my family and country. I want to bring advancements in the field of healthcare and develop high-order technologies that can improve medical practices worldwide. I wish to dedicate myself to curing diseases, improving healthcare systems, and promoting scientific awareness among people regarding health and hygiene.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
Being an Indian with a heart filled with patriotism, I deeply love my country and believe in the idea of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” — the world is one family. I want my success to become a source of service to society and the nation. As a dedicated doctor, I would like to provide people with better medical treatment, healthcare guidance, and awareness about hygiene and healthy living. I will always stand beside people in need and dedicate myself to helping the underprivileged with sincerity and responsibility.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
It was not a single incident but a gradual process that shaped my personality. During childhood, I often felt excluded from society and wanted to prove myself beyond ordinary expectations. I started competing and improving myself with the support and guidance of my parents, who became my greatest motivation. Overcoming unfamiliar situations and challenges made me stronger and inspired me to work harder. Watching my father’s dedication and discipline has also motivated me to stay focused, determined, and hardworking in life.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
Art adds color to my life. I love painting and doodling beautiful details from everyday life. I also enjoy playing badminton, as it helps me stay active and focused on my goals. Along with this, I have a strong interest in crafting and exploring adventurous activities.
