Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra Thanisandra I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend Medical College
Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My family is a joint family with six members—my father, mother, grandparents, elder sister, and me. My father is a farmer and the only earning member. My mother is a housewife who helps my father and takes care of us. My grandparents are old. My elder sister is studying engineering in Bengaluru. They all want to see me become a doctor and always support and encourage me.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
My biggest aim is to become a doctor. It is difficult for my parents to support this dream because NEET coaching is expensive. I want to prove that I have the capacity to become a good doctor, and Dakshana has given me the opportunity to fulfill my dream. If not selected, I would search for other ways to achieve my goal. The Dakshana Scholarship has helped me greatly.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to become an Army doctor; if not, then a good government doctor. As my parents wish to see me in that white coat with a stethoscope, I want to make them happy and serve the nation in all possible ways.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I would like to contribute to society by becoming a government doctor. Nowadays, many government doctors are not treating patients well and not reaching hospitals on time. I want to change this and motivate village people to come to government hospitals to save their lives and money. I will treat people with a good heart and will not charge any fees for checkups. If I become an army doctor, I can serve the nation by treating soldiers and saving them.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
Since childhood, my biggest dream has been to become a doctor. Seeing my mother’s health condition makes me want to take care of her. She has joint pain and weak bones, so I decided to become an orthologist. Seeing the difficulties people in my village face in getting treatment, I want to help them mentally and financially.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I am interested in innovating and seeing new things, travelling, and exploring new places. My hobbies are watching TV, listening to music, reading novels, and enjoying time with family and friends.
