JNV Wardha Maharashtra I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend Medical College
Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
I live in a village with my family. There are six members—my father, mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt. My father is a farmer. We have a small farm, and he also works on others’ fields. My mother is a housewife but sometimes works too. My younger sister is studying in class 11 in JNV. My aunt (my father's sister) has health issues.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
Dakshana provides scholarships to students who aim to become doctors but cannot afford good-quality education. I also have the same dream. If Dakshana does not provide me with the scholarship, I will not be able to take a drop year for NEET preparation. If I am not selected, I will have to study in another stream.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to achieve my dream of becoming a doctor and giving a better life to my family and society. This society helped me get free education, so it is my responsibility to serve them.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I will contribute to society through medical treatment, health camps, the education sector, and old-age homes. I will try my best to help others.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
My parents’ hard work and efforts to fulfill our dreams inspire me. They work continuously in the farm without rest despite facing many problems. Studying and achieving something in life is the only way to solve these problems, and this inspires me to do better.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I am interested in drawing, telling stories, writing, playing badminton and handball. I also like to cook food for my family.
