Akshit Gangwar

JNV Varanasi Uttar Pradesh
I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend Medical College

Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father’s name is Mr. Naval Kishor, who currently works as a farmer. He motivates me toward my goals and is my role model. My mother’s name is Mrs. Kusum Lata, and she is a housewife who always helps me understand problems and guides me to overcome them. I have one brother, Utkarsh Gangwar, who is studying and preparing for competitive exams. I always help and guide him to choose the best path for his future. My family has great hopes from me, and I want to turn those hopes into reality and make them proud. My mama’s name is Mr. Satyveer, and he always motivates me and helps me in making decisions.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
Firstly, I am very thankful to the Dakshana Foundation for giving me such a great opportunity to be awarded their scholarship. As I told everyone, I got this selection on the basis of my NEET 2025 score. Before this, I faced panic during the NEET exam which kept me away from selection, and I waited another year for it. If I am not selected to be a Dakshana Scholar, then I will study from home through online classes because my family cannot afford any coaching institute. One thing is that I will face many difficulties in my future journey if I am not a Dakshana Scholar. So, I thank all the founders and staff who provide quality education to poor families across India. Thank you, Sir!

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I want to first become a great doctor and then go into the field of civil services. Because of my family condition, I want to overcome these situations very soon, as God wishes. I pray that God fulfills my wishes soon. I assure that if I am capable of doing anything for society or poor people, I will be available for them 24×7 and fulfill their needs. My ambition will be truly discussed only on the day I am capable enough to do something meaningful.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I am thinking of various ways to donate to society and help needy ones when I become successful. First, I will donate some of my earnings to NGOs that focus on education and poverty development. I will also contribute to foundations like Dakshana and support their work. Whenever I see a needy person, I will try to fulfill their needs. I will open free food hotels for poor people and provide employment to needy ones. I will plan many such initiatives.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
Incident in my life… My life is always full of incidents. When I was unable to join college in NEET 2025 only because of panic in the exam, that incident I can never forget. I am inspired by various family members who work hard all day. I learned that I will do something new to become a successful person. My grandfather expired during COVID in hospital because of a lack of oxygen cylinders and medical staff. I never expected such an incident to happen to me. From that day I promised myself that I will become a great doctor so that no family member will face such a situation again. I wish God helps me do better day by day and get into our top favourite college soon.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My interest is reading various novels, and I am also interested in research work. My hobbies are singing, playing cricket, chess, and many other things. I enjoy listening to music because it relaxes my mind. I am also very interested in online gaming, but I will restart it only after clearing my exam; for now, I have banned it.
