Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My name is Suraj Harijan. I come from a small village in Madhya Pradesh. In my family, there are 4 members. The first one is my father, who works as a farmer. He is the backbone of my family. He likes visiting new places and caring for plants. The second is my mother, who is a housewife; she likes cooking different types of food. The third is my brother, who is currently preparing for JEE. He likes photography and videography.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because my economic condition does not allow me to afford offline coaching. I also have the potential to crack NEET and contribute to the country as a successful doctor. If I am not selected, then I will prepare for NEET through online batches to achieve my target.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
To make my parents proud is my main ambition. I also want to become a successful doctor. Before becoming a doctor, I want to be a good citizen who contributes to the country by working in the medical field. I will also try to help more and more needy people.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I will give my best to uplift society and help people who are truly needy. After earning enough money, I will donate to those who work for society’s upliftment. One perfect example is the Dakshana Foundation.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
In my village, an uncle told me that I would never crack the JNVST exam. Those words became fuel for me. My family background also motivates me to do better in life.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
Nature photography, traveling, trekking, playing and watching cricket, and learning biology.
