Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father, Veerabhadrayya S. H., aged 50, works in the Gram Panchayat under the MGNREGA scheme. My mother, Gouramma V. H., aged 40, works as a BFT (Bare Foot Technician) in the Panchayat Samiti. I have one younger brother, Gagan V. H., who is studying in class 10 in a nearby village. My family wants to see me achieve a high post and serve my motherland. They also want to see the jealousy of people who once humiliated us when they see our progress.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
Selection for the Dakshana Scholarship is a crucial step in my life. I am determined to work hard to achieve my goals but I need a better platform, and for me, that is Dakshana. Being from a poor background, I cannot afford private coaching. If I am not selected, it will be very difficult, and my next option will be self-study.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition is to become a son who brings respect to his family and provides a better lifestyle. For this, I chose the medical field. My motto is to achieve a good position in the medical field, enhance my skills, and provide the best service to my nation.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
There are many ways to serve society. I think the medical field is one of the greatest and most sacred. As an Indian, I want to improve the medical sector by developing medicines using indigenous resources and creating affordable technology, vaccines, and treatments that can improve society’s health.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
Being from a rural and poor background, there were many incidents that motivated me. Once, I saw a doctor living his life in the best way, and that moment made me think that if I became successful, I could break the poverty line of my family for future generations. I want to see my parents proud of me, so it motivates me to do better.

I enjoy watching movies, listening to music, and traveling.
