Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father is a government employee under NVS and currently serves as a faculty of Economics in JNV Baksa. My mother is a housewife and manages all household chores. I have a younger brother who is studying in Class 10. My paternal uncle is a farmer, and my maternal uncle is a tea cultivator.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
My aim in life is to become a doctor, and Dakshana provides world-class coaching and mentoring. This scholarship will help me fulfil my goal. I believe I deserve this scholarship. If I am not selected as a Dakshana Scholar, the path to my dream will become longer, but I will still try my best with all other available resources to achieve it.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to be a doctor. Since childhood, I have had this ambition. There is no doctor in my family or locality, so I dreamed of pursuing a career in the medical field. I am very curious about human physiology, which attracts me toward this ambition.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I would like to make healthcare accessible for all poor and needy people. I want to open a coaching centre for NEET and JEE that provides high-quality education at low cost to needy students from the open category. I believe that selecting the best brains will improve medicine and technology.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
In Class 12, I appeared for a competitive exam where I wasn’t able to clear the cutoff. I felt very low at that time because after a whole year of preparation, I fell apart. But instead of feeling like a failure, it motivated me to do my best. It taught me that I wasn’t dedicated enough and made me believe I can do better.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I am very interested in sports. Spending time at the playground is my hobby. I love playing cricket—batting and keeping wickets. Badminton and table tennis are also games I love to play.
