Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father is a clerk in a nearby private primary school. My mother is a housewife. I have three siblings, and I am the eldest of the four. All my siblings study in the town’s government school. My sister is in class X, and my brothers are in classes VI and III.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
Because I tick most of the boxes and would surely clear Advanced in my drop year. If I had not received the scholarship, I would probably have joined NITK because I know that I lack the mental fortitude to study at home.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I am really not sure about my ambition. I just want to be a model citizen and do good for society and my family. I want to encourage the children in my society to pursue higher education and be an example to lead.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I would like to make people aware of all the opportunities they have and encourage them toward education. I would also like to give back to the society that has supported and upskilled me in my journey.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
I have always been bad at decision-making. The fact that I would be in a far better position than I am now if I had taken the right decisions motivates me to get back on track.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I like reading books of any kind. I read books that appeal to me. That is what I did in my free time back in JNV.
