Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
In my home village, five people live with me—my parents and my grandparents. My father is the earning member of the family, and he is a farmer. He likes discussing national politics and actively participates in village discussions. My mother takes care of the home and likes watching and listening to religious bhajans. My grandfather and grandmother live at home and help with household work. My chacha is a government teacher and lives in a nearby town; he has two kids. I have two mamas—the younger one is employed in the private sector, and the elder one works in a children’s clinic shop.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
As I have fulfilled all the criteria to become a Dakshana Scholar, this scholarship should be awarded to me. I have a good academic record and I am passionate about getting into IITs. I have already done foundation-level preparation in school for JEE, but to secure a good rank, I hope to get selected for the Dakshana one-year program.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
“For now, there is not a clear goal in my life as I have not explored much yet. For now, I have decided to get into a good IIT, and then I will explore further to give proper direction to my life. For now, being a good person and being financially independent is my goal.”
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I will definitely try to contribute to society in the best way possible. After becoming successful, I will try to ensure that awareness of education and other important things also reaches our local village areas.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
When I was in 6th standard, I got good grades in the final exam and secured first rank in my class. That was the first time I achieved first rank. After that session, I maintained good academic records, and this moment changed the curvature of my life.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My interests involve watching movies and playing video games. I also love studying physics and playing badminton.
