Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
I am from a rural area of Chhattisgarh where only a few people can complete their schooling till class 12. My father is a small farmer in our village, and my mother is a housewife. My elder brother is studying at a local college in our area. My parents are illiterate, but they support and motivate me in my studies.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I tried a lot to get a good college in my locality, but there is no reputed institution here. With proper education and guidance, I believe I can get a good college for further studies.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I wanted to become an IAS officer or a doctor when I was a child, but I realized that without proper education and resources it is not easy to get a seat in a medical college or an IIT. But now I have a clear goal for this year — getting admission into a good IIT.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I think I can help many students in my locality because most of them leave schooling before class 12 and work in farmlands. With proper resources, they can reach good colleges and become assets for society.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
Every day, as the sun rises, I get internal motivation to break the cycle.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I like to hear stories and read the history and biographies of famous people.
