Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
There are six members in my family. My father’s name is Shri Lalmohan Sharma, and my mother’s name is Smt. Sindhu Devi. I have two elder sisters and one younger sister. I am the third child in my family. My father is a tutor, and my mother is a housewife. My sisters are students. My elder sister, Aanchal Didi, is pursuing her diploma course. My other elder sister, Anupriya Didi, has recently completed her class XII board exam, and my younger sister, Pushpanjali, is in class 10. My father likes to walk in the morning, and my mother likes gardening. My sisters like singing and dancing. I have the best family.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because I believe I have the potential to crack JEE Advanced, and the area where I live lacks resources. If I don’t get this opportunity, it will be very difficult for me to achieve my goal. With Dakshana, I feel confident that I can do it. If I am not selected as a Dakshana Scholar, I will face many difficulties and the probability of success will reduce, but I will still work hard toward my dream.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to become an IITian. The only desire of mine is to see myself in IIT. This is my dream, and I will fulfil it.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I will contribute to society by funding organizations like Dakshana. I am very inspired by this organization. I live in a society where people do not know about JEE exams, so they cannot prepare properly or take steps toward success. The education level in my society is very low. I will try to provide quality education and help my society catch up with the modern era.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
After my JEE Mains result was declared, I was very demotivated and sad because of my worst performance. I lost hope that I should restart preparation. I was very upset. One day, I went to my younger sister’s school along with my mother. While returning, we were waiting for a bus at the bus stand and eating lunch. I was wearing spectacles. Pushpanjali (my younger sister) said to me, “Bhaiya, you are looking like an IITian.” I felt very guilty. I said not to talk about IIT because I can't do it. But she said, “No bhaiya, you can do it,” and my mother also said that I should try. At that moment, I realized that my family still trusts me. That incident motivated me a lot, and I hope I will do it and Pushpanjali will call me IITian Bhaiya.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My interest is in computing and mechanical works. I am also interested in programming. My hobbies are playing badminton, watching movies, listening to music, and operating my phone.
