Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
I have eight members in my family—my grandfather, grandmother, parents, uncle, younger sister, and younger brother. My uncle and my father are both farmers and own a small amount of land. My mother is the house queen. My sister is studying in class 10, and my brother is in class 8.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I think I deserve this scholarship because I am hardworking, performing well in school exams, and willing to prepare for JEE Advanced, but I lack the focused study environment and resources due to my family background. Since Dakshana provides a good competitive environment, if I get this scholarship, it will help me fulfill my ambitions in life. If I don’t get selected in this program, I will not stop until my dream is achieved.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambitions in life are to do something that makes my parents and my society feel proud of me and to get a healthier lifestyle. That’s why I want to become an IITian.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
If you want to know about India, you should visit the villages. In some villages, the conditions of education are very tough, and this is the main reason for their backwardness. I will work to empower villagers. They are unable to think beyond casteism, poverty, and many problems, so I will try to give them a broader vision.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
My greatest inspiration is my mother. She is very hardworking and was a brilliant student. But due to a lack of family support and awareness, she could not get a government job. Still, she didn’t stop. She works tirelessly in an environment where awareness about education is low. Her only dream is to make me successful. She teaches small kids in the village during her free time. Every step of hers inspires me.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My greatest interest is to explore whole India. One of my hobbies is watching cricket matches and IPL kabaddi. I exercise daily and have interest in bodybuilding. I am a devotee of Lord Shiva.
