Priyanshu Bharti
JNV Aligarh Uttar Pradesh I'd like to become a Dakshana scholar and hopefully attend IIT
Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father's name is Late Satyaprakash. He always said that he was successful if he could continue my education and make my name shine. My mother's name is Mrs. Shashi Devi; she does all the work at home. I have two sisters—my elder sister Anjali, who is married, and my younger sister Preeti, who is studying in a nearby college. I have one elder brother as well. We are now fulfilling all the needs for education. I am the youngest one. My family has always supported me in my education and continues to do so.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
As far as I know, this foundation selects children from poor backgrounds and provides proper education, and I fulfill this condition. I want to make my parents proud. If I had not been selected, I would have prepared for JEE Advanced from some affordable online batch, and if that wasn’t possible, I would have helped my family further.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
Actually, my ambition is very big. I want to minimize the rate of death caused by poverty and hunger in my country. No person should die because they cannot afford treatment. My other ambition is related to education and business, but I don’t yet know how to achieve it or whether this will remain only a printed dream.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become a successful person, I will join organizations like Dakshana Foundation for educational purposes so I can make education shine brighter. I still see many villages where there is no scope for education. I want to start organizations like Dakshana to impart education and help students prepare for various competitions. I want no person to die because of poverty or hunger.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
Many incidents have inspired me. Once, while going to school on my bicycle, I saw a boy younger than me selling goods on the roadside. I realized that not everyone gets the opportunity to study. That motivated me to study well so that I can help others receive education.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I am interested in many things. For example, I love learning about new inventions, visiting new places and spending time with my family.
