I'd like to become a Dakshana scholar and hopefully attend IIT

Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father’s name is Sri Arjun Paswan and he is a laborer in Jharkhand. My mother’s name is Mrs. Kanchan Kumari. I have one elder brother studying in B.A. and one younger sister studying in class 10th. My mother likes spending time with my grandmother. I have four uncles who live separately and one maternal uncle who became physically disabled due to a road accident in 2016.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I belong to a lower-class family, so I can’t afford the fees for IIT-JEE coaching institutes. I am thankful to the Dakshana Scholarship for providing high-quality coaching and facilities free of cost. This support will help me achieve my ambition. If I am not selected as a Dakshana Scholar, I will continue my studies in my parent JNV.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to study in one of India’s top institutes for higher education and explore new ideas. After that, I want to serve my family and society.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I would make people in my society aware of the importance of education so that they can also lead a better life. I also want to invent new technologies and be a responsible and aware citizen.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
My family’s condition inspires me to do better. I chose engineering after watching Marvel movies where people build advanced robotic systems that make their nation strong. That kind of innovation connects with my happiness and motivates me to improve.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I like playing video games and cricket. I also enjoy reading science fiction stories and spending time with my mother.
