I'd like to become a Dakshana scholar and hopefully attend IIT

Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father is a clerk in MSEDCL. He is a B.A. graduate. He is 42 years old and has been working as an employee for the past 12–14 years. My mother is also a graduate but still a housewife. My mother loves to travel, but my father loves to spend holidays at home. My younger sister studies in 5th class. She enjoys playing. I have four uncles—two of them work in a thermal power station, one is a businessman, and one is a soldier.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana scholarship because I am a needy and worthy candidate for quality education and training, specifically JEE-oriented. I may not be able to afford or get the environment or facilities that will help me improve and excel. The Dakshana scholarship will give me new possibilities to nurture my skills and attempt JEE Advanced with the best of my potential. If I had not been selected as a Dakshana Scholar, I would have been stuck in a dilemma between NEET and JEE, and perhaps I would have opted for NEET.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to set up a business in my town and live in my village with my family. I aspire to become an IITian and a businessman. I also want to be a political figure in my town and bring prosperity to my region, town, and village.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I would like to start a similar organization like Dakshana for students across India who cannot afford good educational facilities despite their talent. I would also like to improve the structure and management of the Vaijnath temple in my town to make it more popular and tourist-friendly. I also want to work as a public servant in politics and serve people around me.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
Until class 5th, I felt like a normal child, with no uniqueness at all, just like any other student in my class. But in class 6th, I got selected for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya and realized that I was among the top 80 students of my district, different from 10,000 others. But again, in Navodaya Vidyalaya, I was one of around 50,000 students studying there. Then, in class 10th, I was selected for Dakshana. I realized that whenever I aimed at something with my full potential, success was just a step ahead.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I like adventure and exploring calm and beautiful places full of peace and harmony. I also like to explore different sports. I am interested in the stock market and business.
