Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father’s name is Durga Rao. He is a home guard. My mother’s name is Veera Durga and she is a homemaker. My sister’s name is Akhula Kumari and she is studying in intermediate second year. Ours is a small family. My father is the only earning person in the family. My uncle is a farmer.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
Dakshana provides excellent coaching for IIT aspirants. As there is no special coaching for IIT, it becomes very difficult for me to crack IIT while studying in other Navodaya Vidyalayas. But Dakshana helps me to overcome this problem. My financial status does not allow me to get private coaching. Since I am an IIT aspirant and could not get private coaching outside, I need this scholarship very much.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I want to become a software engineer and settle well so that I can make my parents happy. Then I would like to help the needy as much as I can.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I would like to serve my country through donations. I want to set up organizations for the needy.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
In my old JNV, on the day of the alumni meet, a senior told us his inspiring success story. He was from a poor background, and even with fewer facilities available to him, he achieved success in life through hard work. Then I understood that no one is successful by birth, but success comes through hard work. This incident always motivates me to do better.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I am very interested in mathematics. I solve sudoku puzzles in my leisure time. I also like cricket and reading thriller books.
