Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My family has 4 members, including me, my father Chandrashekhar Sikri, who is a farmer. My father likes hard work in anything, and my mother is a housewife. She likes singing songs. I have a brother who is studying in class 7. I also have a sister who is my uncle's daughter. She is also a student. My maternal uncle is a mason, and my paternal uncle is a farmer. He possesses two acres of land.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana scholarship because I want to go into IIT for learning. If I get selected, I will work hard and study and try to score good marks in every exam. And if in the future, I get a good job, then I will try to donate some funds. And if I am not selected for Dakshana, I will give the exam again in 12th class. Then I must get selected.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I would like to do many things in my life, such as becoming an IITian, cricketer, and entrepreneur. I would like to make my village develop by becoming successful, and I want to help needy people.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I will give funding to the social communities, and I will make my parents and others prosperous. I will try to give my best to the country and society. And when I become very successful, I will start a foundation for orphans and backward people, and for others also.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
I was in fifth class and was going to give an exam, but a day before, knowing the exam, the teacher had taken another test. Everyone scored good marks but I got fewer marks than every day. That was the first time when my score was low. Then my teacher scolded me a lot, and from that instant, I got motivated. That day was the moment when I began preparing to crack the exam.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I like to play cricket and read novels. I am interested in watching movies and also in watching cricket matches.
