Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My name is Premshankar. There are six members in my family. My father's name is Manoj Kumar, and he works as a labourer because he doesn't have much land. My mother's name is Sanju Devi. She is a housewife. My brother's name is Anand Kumar, and he is studying in class 12. I have two sisters, both of whom are studying.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I think I am hardworking and want to get admission into a top IIT, but my family's financial condition is not good, so they cannot provide me with good JEE coaching. I know I have the potential to do well, especially with Dakshana's support.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I want to become a good person for my parents and society, improve my family's financial condition, and make their lives better.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I will help poor families and motivate them to study by sharing my journey from JNV to Dakshana and Dakshana to IIT. I also want to train village children through sessions and make them valuable human resources.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
The major reason that has motivated me to study is my family's condition. Everyone in my family believes I can do better because they know I have the potential. My father also motivates me by telling stories of successful people and encouraging me to pursue IIT. That became my dream to become an engineer.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My hobbies include reading and studying, playing volleyball, and discussing topics I study with my JNV friends.
