Ajmeera Jagan

JNV Warangal Telangana
I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend Medical college

Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
There are four members in my family. My father name Ajmeera Ramesh and he is a farmer. He works very hard to fulfill the needs of the family. He liked being truthful. My mother name is Ajmeera Sujatha and she is housewife and helps my father in farming work. All she wants is to make everyone happy and healthy in the home. I actually have two elder sister but the eldest one has married recently. Her name is Ajmeera Chandhini and she is a nurse. The other one is currently preparing for competitive exams. I have my uncle (my father's elder brother) as my immediate care taker. His name is Ajmeera Dayakar and he is also a farmer.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
For me Dakshana scholarship is like a boon. Being from a completely poor background , I couldn't afford private Coaching which could cost not less than 4 lakhs. Iam very much grateful for being selected in the scholarship. I consider myself deserved to be selected and work with almost sincerity to fulfill my dream of becoming Doctor. If haven't selected for Dakshana, I would have gave up my dream becoming Doctor and would have took other smaller courses depending on my family's economical condition.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life to become a successful Doctor and take the people out of their pain and make them happy. Apart from this being a Doctor I would bring respect to my family and take our family from the state of poverty.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become a successful Doctor, I will help the students like me who are really talented but lag behind due to their poor economic condition. Moreover, I would also visit Orphanage/Oldage homes/economically backward small villages and provide free medical treatment.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
Once when I was in my sixth class I fell from cycle and had a short injury in my head. My father rushed to the doctor. But the doctor was about to take his lunch but seeing me, he stopped taking lunch and started treatment. This incident created a strong impact in my life. A doctor would not consider anything other than helping people. According to me it is the highest form of any job and the most respectable profession.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My hobbies are reading books related to philosophy, spending time with family, playing cricket and travelling.
