Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father's name is Biswajit Debroy,he works at Manu ValleyTea Estate under Laxmi tea company.ltd.as a store clerk.My mother's name is Anjana Das(Debroy),she used to work as a group facilator of self help groups but she had to resign as she had a tumor in the left frontal lobe of her head and was going through treatment.I have a younger sister,her name is Trisa Debroy,she is in class 5th this year and is preaparing for JNVST.My immediate maternal uncle is a carpenter and my immediate paternal uncle is a teacher.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I always wanted to be a doctor but my preparation in class 11th and 12th was not that good that I can clear the NEET examination and our financial condition is not that good that I can take private coaching from any private institute.So this scholarship will give me an opportunity to fulfill my dream.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
People say life without ambition is meaningless.I made that white doctor's coat and that stethoscope my ambition as my father will be the happiest seeing me wearing that coat.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When my mother was ill and we needed money for her surgery but no one helped us at that time not even our family members who has a really good financial stability.There must be so many other families like us or may be have worse condition that they can't take proper treatment,there are so many people dieing every year due to lack of proper treatment because they can't afford it.After getting successful I want to help those people as much as I can just like Dakshana is doing for us
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
My mother's illness inspired me the most to do better.I want to be that must successful so that we won't need to ask for help ever again from those people who were just watching us from distance when we needed them the most.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I have interests in mythology and archaeology.I like to read books (novels),learn new languages and accents.
