Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father name is Pankaj Kumar.He does private job. He is so hard working. He is my biggest inspiration and my family. He has interest in politics and watching cricket. My mother name is Bhavna. She is housewife. She likes to cook. She motives me a lot and inspire me to become independent and successful. I have a younger brother he likes computer science to study.He is in class 8.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the dakshana scholarship because I have interest in engineering and I think I am capable for it. I think I have potential to do good to get into an IIT. So Dakshana is is best platform for me because it has world best quality education and best teachers.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
From class 6, I want to become an engineer and to get in a decent IIT. I want to go in field of technology. After achieve my aim I want to help the poor students to study.I want that one day I will also become inspiration for others.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful then I will try to help the students that are lived across my neighbourhood and not able to get good quality education. I will also donate in Dakshana because it is a best way to help backward students to become successful.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
One day my school teacher has scolded me very much for some small reason.I felt very bad about teacher. But after sometime my another teacher asked me that you are Shagun. She said that the teacher praises me so much(who scolded me before) and she said he has no daughter but you are not less than a daughter for him. he always said you can do anything with your potential and you must be that into an IIT. That's hope and my parents believe on me motivates me a lot.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I was interested to solve mathematics and phyics problems. Also I give some time in drawing and watching movies. I also like to help my juniors and classmates in study.
