Q1. Introduce your family to us ?….My father, Tej Bahadur Thapa is a shopkeeper. He is very hardworking. He runs cycle repairing shop in Nepanagar. He always supports me and motivate me to give my full effort in studies. My mother, Anjula Thapa is housewife. She is very caring and believes me. I have a younger sister. She is very intelligent.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship ……………..My father works very hard. He works all the day to earn money. On Sundays, he even misses his lunch for running shop. Instead we have not much money for my higher studies. I always give scholarship exams. I hope that I will be selected for this one year program.
Q3. What is your ambition in life ……………..I want to pursue my career in ISRO. It would be great if I successfully start a startup in future.
I would like to be a teacher after becoming successful to help other impoverished talents to achieve their dream of studying in IITs.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better……………..When I came to know about Kranti Pati, son of the former Principal of our JNV getting an AIR 49 in UPSC exams, I was inspired to do like him. Not only that, he is also a JNV student. So I was really motivated.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies ……………..I love to watch cricket and movies. I also like to visit new places.
